The yearly Consumer Electronics Show isn’t a place you’d expect to find individuals naive to techn but with all the nerds running around a social faux pas was bound to happen, and of course shared to Twitter.

Reporter Roberto Baldwin snapped this gentleman in the midst of a call while his phone was still holstered firmly in a selfie stick. Maybe the guy wanted to be ready to get a photo of himself at the drop of a hat, maybe the phone has never been removed from the selfie stick or, maybe he just has no clue how silly he looks.

The selfie stick has split opinion since it’s birth. The aid for one of the most vain of activities has been banned from many places including football stadiums, libraries and South Korea altogether (allegedly).

We didn’t think you could look any more ridiculous using one, but as per usual the Internet has proved otherwise.
